It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Union County School District.
What an exciting time for the students of Union County! Changes are being made throughout the schools that will greatly improve instructional capabilities.
Additional classroom construction is under way at each campus; electrical upgrades have been done on each campus; and several other projects are under way to give the students of Union County the space and materials needed for an outstanding education.
We are very proud of our new programs that were initiated last year. Our county-wide band and football programs have proven to be well worth the time and dedication of both the teachers/coaches and the students. Amazing things are happening in the Union County Schools!
We are working very hard to prepare our students for readiness in life after high school in an ever-changing society and economy. Our objective is to graduate students ready for college or other postsecondary training, careers and life after high school in an increasingly globalized society. Union County students are facing a whole new set of challenges with changing economics; science and technology; health and security issues; and demographics. To meet the challenge of global competence for our students, our school district is dedicated to ensuring excellence in our instructional programs.
Parent/Guardian involvement is vital for a student’s success in school. Please take time to listen, read, and interact with your child concerning school. Encourage your child/children to do their very best in all subjects. Academics are our main priority and focus and educating the students of Union County is our number one goal.
I am humbled to be the superintendent of such an outstanding school district. When possible, visit your school and become acquainted with your principals, teachers, and staff. Please join us in ensuring that ALL students in Union County receive the best education possible. Endless opportunities and bright futures are available for our students. The sky’s the limit!
Sincerely,
